The Pesticide Education Center is a non-profit organization founded in 1988 to
educate workers and the public about the hazards of pesticides to human health and
the environment.
The Pesticide Education Center (PEC) provides critical information on health effects and
safer alternative pest control methods to the public. Our mission is to educate consumers
to make more informed choices to protect themselves, their families, their pets, their
neighbors, and the environment from toxic pesticides.
The founder and president of the PEC, Dr. Marion Moses, is a physician specializing in
occupational and environmental medicine with many years experience investigating and
diagnosing pesticide-related illnesses.
The center produces videos and publishes books and other materials.
